Take fireball vocal powerhouse Dity and the hard hitting, harder grooving Raven brothers, bind them together and you get Coridian.

It's the four piece Auckland based group who are fast becoming one of the best new names in Kiwi rock.

 

A combination of emotive lyrics and heavy, yet still ambient, sound have crafted the band's signature style.

Coridian is an alternative/progressive rock group from Auckland, New Zealand. 

Formed in 2015, the band consists of brothers Mike Raven (Guitars/Keys), Kris Raven (Drums/Percussion), Nick Raven (Bass) & Dity Maharaj (Vocals/Artwork)

Coridian have toured extensively around Aotearoa, including multiple headlining tours and performing with high profile NZ acts such as Shapeshifter, Kora, Devilskin, Written by Wolves, I AM GIANT, Dead Favors, Skinny Hobos & Pull Down the Sun. They’ve also supported international acts such as P.O.D, Fuel, Northlane, Caligula's Horse, Banks Arcade, Skillet, Sumo Cyco & Fozzy. They have appeared at national festivals such as Meatstock, Rock Monsters, Porirua Rocks & Nz Tattoo & Art.

 Coridian has released a string of singles and music videos (including Nz On Air funded ‘Reflections’ ‘Rite of Passage’ & ‘State of Mind’ plus two EPs & two albums as part of their Elements concept series. Previous releases include 2015 Oceanic (Water), 2017 Caldera (Earth) & 2020 Eldur (Fire) & 2023 Hava (Air).

Their music has received regular radio rotation on NZ & International independent radio stations and mainstream NZ Radio stations The Rock FM and Radio Hauraki. Their releases have charted in the Top 20 NZ Rock Radio Charts, as well as several Itunes Rock Charts including NZ, Australia and Mexico. Their music has also featured on several Spotify playlists, with 2020 single Seed II being streamed over half million times and combined streams of over 1 million while 2023 single Redefine has received over 97k views on Youtube.
