So we've been a bit quiet on the gigging lately - this is due to us spending some quality time writing and recording in the studio.

This next release of music will be the beginning of phase 3 - and we're super proud of what we've created!

We've got a lot planned for the next 6 months - and can't wait to share the music with everyone!

Coridian had the privilege to join Skinny Hobos on their 2nd EP release "Lucifer" Tour

We were set to perform 5 shows with the Hobos - Napier, Gisborne, Invercargill, Dunedin & Christchurch. This was going to be Coridian's first South Island shows and what better way to pop the gig cherry with our Hobros. Set to take place over the months of April & May 2019.

But with tradition of winter touring - quality of health can be a problem.

A week before our Gisborne/Napier shows I went into hospital to have an emergency appendix removal surgery. Fun times. Coridian had to pull out of those two shows - which was a shame,...

I'd normally be celebrating this day in some form of nerdy Star Wars fandom - but this year Coridian had the honor to be a part of Muzic.net.nz's 20 years of service party!

With a stellar line up of Written by Wolves, Skinny Hobos, Animal Head & Checaine - the night was full with enthusiastic fans of the Rock genre. 

We dabbled with a few new tracks (to be officially released in our next EP late 2019) and banged out some of our tunes from previous release "Caldera"

Pride

When I write my lyrics, I usually try to keep them fairly multi-interpretable.

Pride for me was a story about how people spend too much time showcasing themselves through social media.

Not being present in the moment, not appreciating their physical and spiritual surroundings, but instead manufacturing their story with that “perfect” snapshot of their lives.

During my travels and even daily interaction with people, I am somewhat disappointed when I see individuals live their lives around selfies. Constantly wanting to be “a part of something” but in reality they aren’t experiencing anything. Call it bragging rights or...
